Indian portraits

The ideas and stories of these works were born after an incredible journey to India and developed between 2009 and 2013. I used specific images of Indian provinces ethnic ornaments, landscape fragments and expressive faces to create my experience of this country and these people`s universe. I chose the oval form for this series which represents the eye as the symbol of looking at the world.
